The logo
The main logo consists of an icon and a wordmark.
Meaning
The Vue logo represents scene and vision. It comes from the French word “vue”, and it expresses intentional viewing rather than simple recording. The red square marks the recording moment. It is drawn in a pixel-based system to reflect the digital nature of screens and visual media. Its inverted orientation refers to professional horizontal framing and creative control. The result is a modern identity that stands for visual awareness and intentional vision.
Scene
Record
Construction
Angled strokes in the V, square blocks in the U and E. The red square sits on the cap line of the wordmark.
Proportion
Every logo measurement is based on one relative unit, 1x, defined by the diameter of the red square. The unit sets all proportions, spacing and exclusion zones, so the logo stays consistent and balanced at every size.
Exclusion zone
Keep a clear space of 4x around the logo. No artwork, typography or other graphic element may enter this area, which protects the logo’s visibility, clarity and impact in every application.
Minimum size
The logo is never shown smaller than 35 px in height. Drag the slider to see where it stops working.

Placement

Selected position
5 · Middle centred
Reversed
Use the reversed logo on dark or saturated backgrounds so it stays clear and readable.
Single colour
Use the single-colour version when only one colour is available, such as print or monochrome applications. The whole mark, square included, takes that colour.

What never to do to the logo, and every version ready to copy.
Never do this
Nine mistakes to catch before anything is published. Each one breaks a rule from the guideline: proportion, exclusion zone, minimum size or approved colours.

Tagline
One red pixel. Infinity frames.
The tagline says where every film starts and how far it can go. The red pixel is the mark in our logo, and infinity frames is the work that follows: every shot a choice, with perspective and visual intention in each one.
Type scale Proposed
Five roles cover almost everything. Headings are uppercase and bold. Body copy is sentence case so long text stays easy to read.

Colour balance Proposed
Charcoal carries the brand. White gives it air. Red is the accent that says “record”, so it stays small. Volt and orchid are highlights and never the main colour.

White 20%
Red 15%

Readable pairings Proposed
Contrast ratios are calculated from the real hex values. Aim for 4.5 or higher for small text. Between 3 and 4.5 works for large headlines only.
Gradients Proposed
Taken from the cover and colour pages of the guideline. Copy the CSS to reuse them.
Patterns Proposed
The Patterns page in the original guideline is empty, so these three are new. They come straight from the logo: the 1x pixel grid, the vertical scan lines of the cover art and the stepped blocks of the U and E. Send me your own patterns and I will replace them.

Short, aligned and the same for everyone. One logo with the red square blinking, then name, role and four contact lines (phone, email, web, location). Fill in the name and role for each person.
The logo is 116 px wide, above the 35 px minimum height. Email apps do not run page animation, so in Gmail or Outlook use the blinking GIF from the logo kit (Vue-signature-logo.gif). Never stack a banner or quote below the signature.
Website & UI kit
